CHARDONNAY

Wine characteristics and description:

Chardonnay Ivan Katunar is made from grapes from the first plantation on the local terroir. The wine is amber coloured with the apple and pear aromas, full bodied, still lively and refreshing. It has a characteristic varietal aroma combined with the flavours and scents of the local area.

Pairing with food:

with all types of pasta, with chicken and cheese

SANSIGOT

Wine characteristics and description:

“Sansigot” or “Sušćan crni” is the name of the indigenous variety of wine. It’s an old Croatian grape variety originally from the island of Susak, now grown in Vrbnik. This wine, with a medium alcohol content, is produced from grapes from the old vineyard on the western slopes as well as from the new one, situated on “Krasina”, the land obtained by melioration of karst.

Pairing with food:

with all kinds of meat, mature cheeses, with dark chocolate

ROSÉ

Wine characteristics and description:

Elegant and refreshing, to be sipped in summer with seafood dishes and seasonal vegetables. Its colour is sparkling, crystal clear light pink, in accordance with the variety, technology and age of the wine. When sniffed, it’s descreet, but clearly distinctive, with plenty of fruitiness.
It’s refreshingly acidic, semi dry and well rounded.

Pairing with food:

excellent as an aperitif, with sea delicacies and Mediterranean cuisine

MUŠKAT ŽUTI

Wine characteristics and description:

In its taste you’ll feel the sweetness from unfermented sugar that is the base for the typical muscat aroma which is always very distinctive. “Muškat” is a wine of fine, discreet and pleasant muscat aroma (aroma varieties of grapes which give a fine flowery odour of rose and sage). The flavour is full and rounded and remains in your mouth for a long time.

“Biser Žlahtine” is a crisp and inviting pearl wine with soft citrus flavours that dance through delicate bubbles.
The aroma is of lemon and green apples with a touch of spring flowers.

perfect as an appetizer, but is very good with shellfish, fish and various seafood delicacies
